HHS and HMMS students from the Our Voices Xposed/Vermont Kids Against Tobacco groups (OVX/VKAT) protested flavored vapes and tobacco in Montpelier in February. Favors attract and hook youth, a demographic that should not be receiving marketing for substances that are illegal, highly addictive, and dangerous for them to consume.

|
Join us March 15th from 6:30 - 8:30 at the Good Neighbor Health Clinic for the inaugural HCC Karaoke Pizza Party!
There will be prizes, gift cards, and lots of food and fun!

FREE eCHECKUP for Alcohol
|
According to recent surveys, 60% of adults aged 18 to 29 say they drink alcohol, a rate that rises to 71% among those aged 21 to 29. Yet many of these young adults have no measurable way of understanding how alcohol consumption affects their lives.
Green Peak Alliance is making it easier for young adults in Vermont to make informed decisions about their alcohol intake by offering the Alcohol eCHECKUP TO GO scan to young adults ages 17-26 living in VT’s Bennington, Windham, and Windsor counties.
eCHECKUP TO GO is an online scan that gives participants personalized, confidential feedback on their alcohol use based on a 30-minute survey. eCHECKUP TO GO shows people the risk factors and warning signs to know about Substance Use Disorder, helps them understand their limits, and provides resources to guide people on making healthy choices.
