It's the Last Weekend for Sourdough September...
Hard to believe Sourdough September ends this weekend. Where did the days go? We made more bread this month than we've made since we opened, and we still ran out! If this keeps up, we'll be opening Thursdays sooner than later.
Meanwhile, between customers lining up and loaves flying off the rack, I was able to snap this shot of Alyssa and her niece! That's what love is all about...
And we had a flurry of Frequent Flour Rewards Club members who cashed in their completed cards and collected their Free Country Loaves!
After we covered the side of our bread slicer with completed Frequent Flour Rewards cards, we started up the wall...
And when we ran out of room there, we started another row here...
We also had several Frequent Flour Rewards Club members who collected their Birthday Breadness! Here's one of them...

Migali Refrigerator Update...
We've been so busy that I haven't been able to remove the evaporator assembly yet to inspect it for the water leak. However, for the moment, the problem has disappeared. I wiped up the water that had been collecting inside. Very mysterious, indeed. I'm still going to get to that evaporator assembly, but not this weekend!
Totally Sold Out!
Last week we made 220 loaves of our artisan breads (which was 28 more than we made the week before) and we still ran out! I wanted to be able to freeze some Breadness Bowls and Petite Loaves but they all got bought before we could freeze them. This is a good problem. So...
This week at the bakery we're making 220 loaves, again!
And I made another round of Sourdough Crisps (available in 3 flavors this week: Naked, Tuscan Herb Infused and Applewood Smoked. Sorry, no Cinnamon Raisin Maple Pecan Crisps this week as we sold all of those loaves last week).
(Note: This week, Petite Loaves and Breadness Bowls will be available on Saturday and Sunday only; we'll reset the inventory counters on the website Friday night so you can order them after that.)
And, of course, we have all the other goodies that go with Breadness, like Raw Farm Butter (or Nutiva vegan butter), Laura Ann's Jams, Clif Family Honey Spreads, NuttZo Keto Nut/Seed Butter and Beyond the Olive Tapenades!
Our Breadness Sign is Baaaaaaaaaaaack!
Random Acts of Breadness is located at 2214 West Magnolia Blvd. in Burbank (2-1/2 blocks east of Buena Vista on the south side of the street). Come to the bakery and sample our artisan wares, or order on line for bakery pickup, or have Breadness delivered or shipped to your door. You may also order by phone at 818-562-7303 and pay when you come pick it up. We're open Friday & Saturday 12 to 6 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Reminder: If you (or someone you wish to gift) live within 120 miles of Los Angeles, we can ship on Thursday (via UPS Ground) and in most cases your Breadness Box will arrive on Friday (Saturday at the latest). Place your order before Thursday at noon here.
