🎉 WHAT YOU ALL HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR... 🎉

My dance family, I have been holding onto this news for weeks and I am SO ready to share it with you!

Boots A Movin' is coming home to Last Call (the building you all know and love as the old Branding Iron)! 🤠👢

This one hits close to home for me. That building is where I danced for over 20 years, and it's where my line dancing story truly began. I've laughed, I've learned, I've grown on that dance floor — and now I get to bring all of you back there with me. Full circle doesn't even begin to cover it. Kennewick Eagles and Iconic are no longer after August 7th... Last Call Bar is the new location starting August 13th.

Here's what's coming:

🌟 THURSDAY NIGHTS — Line Dance Night
📍 Last Call
📅 Starting August 13th
🕕 6-7 PM: Absolute Beginners Line Dance
🕖 7-8 PM: Line Dance
🎶 8-11:30 PM: DJ, open to all your favorite songs and genres! I'll be announcing the dance for every song, so you'll never be left guessing.
💵 $10 for the night's lesson • Open dance is free — tips are appreciated!

🌟 FRIDAY NIGHTS — 2-Step & Line Dance Country Night
📍 Last Call
📅 Starting August 14th
🕕 6-7 PM: Beginners 2-Step
🕖 7-8 PM: Line Dance
🎶 8 PM-1:30 AM: Country Music DJ, songs for 2-step, waltz, swing, and line dance to get everyone out on the floor. I'll announce each dance as we go.
💵 $10 for the night's lesson • Open dance is free — tips are appreciated!

Dance floor is open for all, please just remember dance floor etiquette!

Friday nights will also rotate:
🤠 The 1st and 3rd Friday's are Classic Country Night — all your favorites from 2000 and older!
🤠 The 2nd and 4th Friday's are Newer Country Night — 2000 and on!

Grab your boots, grab your friends, and get ready to dance — because this is going to be one of the best chapters of Boots A Movin' yet. I cannot wait to see you all on that floor.

A little note for my traveling dancers: For my sweet dancers who've learned a line dance to a hip hop or pop song somewhere else with me or someone else — I'd love to help you find a country song swap so you can still dance it here at Last Call on Friday nights! I may already have some swaps in my back pocket, come find me and ask — I'd love to know what you're wanting to dance to, and I'll do my best to get you dancing to it soon!

Our town has been in dire need of a country bar to dance at on the weekends, and I am so excited to help fill that need. 💛🤠

And please, support our local bars and venues! Without them, we wouldn't have anywhere to go and gather with friends to dance. Purchase some food and/or a drink, and tip your bartenders 🙏

A quick personal note: I did re-injure my foot a bit more during the Gala on July 18th, and I'm having some help teaching some dances off and on to let it rest and recover. I see the foot doctor on August 4th, and I'm doing my best to take it easy so I can make it through my Indiana competition trip. I'm still able to teach and get through classes, I just won't be on the floor for open dances— I'm just being extra careful. I want to make sure classes still happen, and I'm so grateful for my wonderful subs helping me through this — otherwise there'd be no place for us to go and dance together. I refuse to let this bring me down permanently. Thank you all for your patience and love as always.

I'm so excited to be teaching the country dance lesson at Tucannon Cellars' barn party on August 8th! Come grab your favorite people for a Saturday night full of live music, dancing, great wine, artisan pizza, and country fun.

Here's the lineup:

5:00 PM – Doors open

5:30–6:30 PM – Kick up your boots with my country dance lesson with Mandy

6:30–9:30 PM – The Knutzen Brothers take the stage and keep the dance floor moving

Plus: cow roping dummies for bragging rights, the new Blue Roan Hat Bar to brand your own hat, and wood-fired pizza from Cascade Crust's 1954 Chevy Pizza Truck. Wine, local beer, and seasonal cocktails all night long.

Tickets are $20 — Wine Club members, log in for your discount, or call the Tasting Room at 509-545-9588.

This is a 21+ event

BOOTS A MOVIN' RULES

1. Weekly Class Format
  Classes run from 6–8 PM with dance instruction, followed by open practice/dancing. Most of us hit a learning limit after about an hour, so we'll focus on one main teach per class, sometimes two if they're shorter or simpler. After the main lesson(s), I'll walk through past dances as requested — this is a great time to brush up on favorites or practice ones you're still learning.
2. Tuesdays – Faster Pace at Pasco Eagles
  Tuesday classes are geared toward dancers who already know basic line dance terminology. We'll focus on improver to intermediate level dances, often with more complexity or speed.
3. Wednesdays – Beginner Friendly at Pasco Eagles
  Wednesday classes are perfect for absolute beginners and newer dancers. The first hour is dedicated to building foundational steps and terminology, followed by a weekly lesson.
4. Thursdays – Line Dance Night at Last Call
  Join us Thursdays from 6–11:30 PM at Last Call! 6–7 PM is Absolute Beginners Line Dance, 7–8 PM is Line Dance, then 8–11:30 PM is open dance with a DJ spinning country, pop, and more — all genres welcome. Minors welcome till 9pm.
5. Fridays – 2-Step & Line Dance Night at Last Call
  Join us Fridays from 6 PM–1:30 AM at Last Call! 6–7 PM is Beginners 2-Step, 7–8 PM is Country Line Dance, then 8 PM–1:30 AM is open dance with a Country Music DJ (strictly country all night). Fridays rotate weekly: 1st & 3rd Fridays are Classic Country (2000 & older), 2nd & 4th Fridays are Today's Country (2000 & on), and a 5th Friday, when it happens, is a Mixed Night! Minors welcome till 9pm.
6. Saturdays – All Levels or Special Events
  These classes vary week to week. They may include all-level line dancing, couple's dances, or themed events, followed by open dancing.
Listed times are estimates and may shift depending on class size or dance complexity. If we finish early, we'll use the time for quick reviews or extra practice.
