Hello <<First Name>> , and welcome to our January Newsletter!
|
The team at Rutland & Stamford Sound would like to wish all our listeners and supporters a very Happy New Year.
As we head into 2026, we’re looking back on the final months of 2025. The final quarter of the year brought a brilliant run of campaigns, including our Fundraising Auction, Writing Competition, Sports Night and Raffle, and our on-air Festive Fortnight.
|
Rutland & Stamford Sound Fundraising Auction |
As a not-for-profit organisation, we rely on the generosity of local businesses and individuals to keep the station running. Rutland & Stamford Sound is more than just radio - it’s a lifeline for our community, connecting people through local news, events, stories, and voices.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated prizes and placed bids. With your support, we raised £2,336.00, helping us continue our vital work. We’re incredibly grateful for your commitment to the station’s success.
|
‘Ink to Soundwaves’ Writing Competition |
Stamford business Ink & Ember supported our ‘Ink to Soundwaves’ Writing Competition, generously providing fantastic prizes across four age categories. The results will be announced during January, with the winning entries to be recorded for broadcast in a dedicated show on Rutland & Stamford Sound.
