You'd never know it, based on the weather we've been having...

...but Spring has officially sprung as far as the calendar goes. No use telling Old Man Winter the news; he's as cold and windy as ever. But as far as we're concerned, it's just more soups, stews and sourdough weather, so don't stash that well-seasoned stockpot in the attic just yet!

Pictured above is my Seafood Chowdah recipe (sorry, we can't sell this at the bakery, but Private Chef Services are available). It's got Pastured Bacon; Wild-caught Shrimp, Scallops and Mahi Mahi; organic Coconut Cream; Vegetables; Herbs; Spices and a whole lotta love. Goes great in one of our Breadness Sourdough Bowls, or toast some sourdough slices, lay on the buttah and dig in! Garlic Parmegiano Bread (with Smoked Paprika) is another tasty option!

You're Just Too Good to Be True...

Yes. That's Frankie Valli above... and Frankie Valli below... with a loaf of Breadness! What's the story, you ask?

Basil Fung (center, photo below) is an amazing guitarist and I've had the pleasure to hire him many times to lay down killer guitar tracks for various projects at my studio. A few years ago, Basil got the gig to play guitar in Frankie Valli's concert tour shows. When Frankie's shows came to So Cal in 2019, Basil arranged for tickets and backstage access for the show in Indio. I wanted to surprise Cyndie for her birthday so this was the perfect gift! After the show, we got to meet Frankie and I gave him his first loaf of Breadness (not the photo above).

It would be a few months before I got the word from Basil how Frankie liked his Breadness. As kids might be reading this, I won't quote him word for word, but let's just say he really liked the bread and wanted to know when he could get another one!

So Basil arranged for me to connect with Frankie at one of the local rehearsals and that's where the earlier photo was taken. In fact, Frankie wanted us to stage a tug-of-war with the bread for the camera!

Is Breadness just too good to be true? I'll leave that for you to answer...
