Lego League Teams Ready For Action |
STEM teacher Julie Barnett’s Lego teams at South Milwaukee Middle School have started their season. With approximately 14 students, participants learn skills that include building robot courses, robot programming and using sensors. There are still spots available for any South Milwaukee Middle School student wanting to join the club. Contact Mrs. Barnett (jbarnett@sdsm.k12.wi.us) for more details.

Physical Education Uniforms Set the Tone |
Reminder: Students need to wear a Red T-Shirt, Black Bottoms, Socks and Athletic Shoes to earn their daily grade.(Red Rockets T-Shirts are available for purchase for $8.00 from the PE Department). Students may bring cash or check to their Physical Education teacher. Checks may be made out to Soth Milwaukee Middle School for purchase.

The School District of South Milwaukee is asking for the community’s input on a possible operational referendum in the spring. Please join us on October 4 from 4:30-6 p.m. in the High School Commons (Enter Door 9). Residents will have an opportunity to: - Speak to the Superintendent and School Board
- Learn about past referendums and school finance
- Learn about District facility and safety upgrades
- Share your thoughts about what SM needs (if any) in a new referendum
