Held in parallel with the 2025 Asia Pacific Cities Summit and Mayors’ Forum, this event offers a timely opportunity to foster global collaboration between city leaders, tourism professionals, sustainability experts, NGOs and innovators. The forum will explore practical strategies that advance the sustainable tourism agenda, with a strong focus on implementation, partnerships and shared learning.
The two-day program includes keynote presentations, panel discussions and interactive sessions. Speakers and panellists will represent countries including the UAE, Sri Lanka, Türkiye, Thailand, Australia, Spain, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and India. Green Destinations is delighted to celebrate a major milestone for sustainable tourism in Sri Lanka: 100 small and medium tourism enterprises have been awarded the Good Travel Seal certification as part of the 2025 SME Sector Tourism Certification Program. This initiative was delivered in close collaboration with the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) and BIOFIN – Biodiversity Finance Initiative at UNDP Sri Lanka.
