Store Sale Update
Many of you have asked about what's going on with the sale of the bookstore. We really appreciate your interest because that tells us how much the store means to this community! So here is a brief update. We’ve been very pleased with the amount of interest in Copperfish Books. Recently we came close to selling to a terrific candidate, but sudden changes to their personal circumstances prevented them from going forward. Though we’re disappointed, we are confident that another candidate will surface. In the meantime, our focus is toward the upcoming holidays and winter season. We’re working hard to bring you wonderful new books, gifts and events. We very much appreciate your continued patronage and support!

Book Bundle Drawing Ends Saturday, September 2 |

We are seriously OVERRUN with advance reading copies of books that publishers send us! So we decided to give away over 100 books all at once!
Come in to the bookstore and fill out an entry form. No purchase required. You might just win one of several book bundle prizes! The big bundle has about 60 books and the others will be tote bags full of books. Each bundle will have books of different genres for adults. Plenty for you to read and share with friends and family! One entry per person and you must enter in person.
The lucky winners will be randomly selected from all the entries after we close on September 2. We ask that winners pick up their books within a week if possible. |

Support the freedom to read with your very own Florida READ BANNED BOOKS t-shirt! Similar to the t-shirt campaign we did earlier this year for Independent Bookstore Day, we have designed a Florida-specific "READ BANNED BOOKS" shirt! The books listed on the design have been banned or challenged in schools in at least one Florida county. Order by September 15 to receive your shirt around October 5. Multiple styles and colors available! Sold and shipped by Bonfire. |

Holiday Cards are Due in This Month!
Our boxed holiday cards are due in late September. If you pre-ordered cards, we will call you when they have arrived. Don't worry if you can't pick them up right away — we'll hold them for you! And if you need more, we will have more boxes and single cards available. They always sell out, though, so don't wait!

Prepare, share, and sample recipes from our featured cookbook, Vegan Africa by Marie Kacouchia. Limited to 15 participants. Led by co-owner Cathy.
