As I prepare this email for sending, Rocky is recovering after a day and half (and hopefully only a day and a half) of seizure clusters. I was up every two hours last night, comforting him as another seizure took hold. Needless to say, we are both exhausted today. โ
Just as I finished writing that last sentence, Rocky had a seizure, and then he had three more over the course of the next several hours, so it looks like we're going on a full two days of seizuresโ He's resting now, though, so hopefully we've seen the worst of this cluster.
If this is your first time hearing about Rocky, he's my almost 5year old lab mix who suffers from seizures. He takes three different medications, for a total of 25 pills a day (different combinations at 4 different times during the day).
