The postponed National Rejoin March has been rescheduled! It was, of course, the right decision to postpone the National Rejoin March after the sad death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. Even so, we’re delighted that a new date has been found so quickly – we will reconvene and march on Saturday October 22, 2022. Check out the new video here! Everyone who booked tickets on our coach should have received an email, advising them of the new date and the opportunity to carry forward their ticket for the re-booked coach on October 22nd. A few people have, unfortunately, had to cancel as they cannot make the new date, which means there are a small number of tickets still available: if you haven't made arrangements yet, you might be quick enough to snap up the last one or two tickets here. Very many thanks, again, to everyone who included a donation for Dorset for Europe as well as paying for the coach. A reminder that there are reduced rate tickets for anyone struggling to pay the full amount – if even £5 is too much, please let us know, as we do not want anyone to be excluded for financial reasons. Placards The delay has given us the opportunity to share ideas for placards! We will have a few ideas on display THIS EVENING September 27, at 7.30pm: join us on Zoom to swap ideas: here’s the link. https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87570433796?pwd=OUFFVzFIenJWMmxhUlBNS25ZSkV4dz09 Meeting ID: 875 7043 3796 Passcode: 197588 The purpose of the march is to highlight our firm commitment and belief that we need to rejoin the European Union. But there are many steps along the way and other issues to highlight, so you are welcome to choose your own words and themes (bearing in mind children will attend this family friendly event!).
- Environmental concerns
- Freedom of Movement
- Lower Bills
- Peace in Europe
- Workers Rights
- Bankers bonuses
And of course: #RejoinEU

Poet Leo Aylen, who has recently moved to Dorset, has penned an anthem for rejoin - to be sung to the tune of 'Ode to Joy'
Are there any musicians out there who could lead the singing on the coach and on the street? Please let us know - we could set up a rehearsal, which would be fantastic!
- Europe's nations, self-destructing,
- Through a century of war,
- Came together, formed a union,
- Built a peace, which will endure.
- Brexiters boast "We're the winners,
- We have taken back control."
- Brexit is destroying Britain
- Bury Brexit down a hole.
