NAIKAN PRACTICE
Kimiko Nita: In this course, we actually experience “Naikan”, a Japanese method of looking into oneself. We will experience “Naikan” practice together. First, as an introduction to authentic Naikan, I will make this session an easy way for everyone to get the essence of Naikan. In each meeting, we recall what we have received from others in the past day or week for about 15 minutes. While doing this, each person should be on their own, quietly watching inside, blocking out as much of the surrounding stimuli as possible. After self-reflection, we will have a short sharing. As members become more familiar with Naikan practice, we would like to step up the process.
Date and Time: Every other Thursday 14:10~15:30 (Rome)
