“Here with a Loaf of Bread beneath the Bough, a Flask of Wine, a Book of Verse - and Thou beside me singing in the Wilderness - And Wilderness is Paradise now.” — Omar Khayyám, Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam

NOTE: If this is your first Breadness Buzz, or  you've been part of our tribe but missed earlier posts, visit the Breadness Buzz Archive here and catch up on some Breaducation written especially for you. It's a great way to meet like-minded artisan sourdough aficionados and be part of this journey I started back in 2016. And now for this week's Buzz...

Follow our journey on Instagram...

As dozens of social media platforms emerged and evolved, five rose to the top and became the places to go, depending on what you were looking for. Facebook, Twitter (now X), Instagram, Pinterest and TikTok. (YouTube is technically not a social media platform but is the second most used search engine and can host viewer comments under its videos if enabled.) Each of these platforms continues to be strong in their original niches and these platforms provide places for people to share content.

Random Acts of Breadness has had a presence on Facebook and Instagram from the beginning of our journey and that's where most of our engaging content has been posted. And since Elizabeth joined the Breadness team, she's created some really cool posts and stories on Instagram. If you're familiar with Instagram, you can go right to our page at https://www.instagram.com/random_acts_of_breadness/  If you new to Instagram, it's easy to create a free account and then explore!

Once there you can check out Behind the BreadFeatures and Breaducation. Each contain short video clips that will surely make you smile, or make you hungry, or both!

Customer Culinary Creations!

One of the coolest things about Instagram is that's where some of our customers post their culinary creations using Breadness and other items we carry at the bakery! Mica Javier recently posted these cool shots of a couple of amazing-looking presentations. (If only social media had smell-o-rama...) She included some captions on the images so take a look and enjoy the creativity and attention to detail Mica put into these dishes.

We'd love for you to send us your sourdough works of art as well! You can post them on Instagram and tag us @random_acts_of_breadness, or e-mail them to me at rmt@breadness.com  Please provide as much descriptive text as needed so our readers will be properly enlightened...
