Saturday 25th March 2023 National Day of Action- The co-ordinating committee for the National Rejoin March have proposed a series of locally-planned events to take place across the country on 25th March 2023, with the aim of having at least one major event per region on that day.
- We plan to hold a street stall and democracy-meter in Beale Place in Bournemouth from 11-1pm. Please let us know if you are free to join us - or just come along to help on the day.
- Hattie Miles, tour guide, will reprise her 'Bournemouth's European Connections' walking tour, also on 25th March. Hattie will start the walk from Pier Approach at 2pm, so that volunteers who want to join her will have time to grab a coffee and short break before hearing the mysteries that Hattie will reveal (£6 cash to Hattie at the start of walk - no need to book). Highly praised by all who joined her last year!
- If anyone has ideas for events, large or small, elsewhere in Dorset on the day of action - please let us know.
Wednesday 26th April: The Real Greek 7.30pm- Travelling to Europe might have become harder and more expensive since since Brexit - but with all the wonderful venues in our county, we can still 'dine around Europe' sampling different menus along the way!
- We have secured a table for up to 20 people to dine together at the highly recommended 'The Real Greek' restaurant, Exeter Cres, Bournemouth BH2 5DD for the evening of 26th April.
- As spaces are limited, please email phil.lucas1@ntlworld.com to secure your place! A deposit of £5 a head will be required in advance of the day.

Plans to look out for!- We want to ensure everyone knows about the new voting rules before the local election in BCP in May: we have new leaflets on the way, explaining the need for all voters to have a specific form of photo ID.
- Look out for a summer event in the West of Dorset: we are negotiating the venue and date!
- How about activities to help keep our beaches and rivers clean? Let us know if you are interested in helping to organise a litter pick!

Please s ign the petition to Parliament "We call upon the Government to hold a Public Inquiry into the impact of Brexit " - The petition was sponsored by Peter Packham from Leeds for Europe. The government have responded to this petition, but there are many flaws in the response - it has now passed 100,000 signatures so it will be considered for a debate in Parliament. Please continue to promote it - the more signatures, the more likely it is to be reported in the mainstream press.
