Hello Neighbors,
February is a month that invites us to think about love—and at Ballantyne Families Helping Neighbors in Need, we believe the greatest expressions of love are those that show up for others.
This is especially true during School Counselor Appreciation Week, which we celebrated last week. Our school counselors are a steady presence that make an enormous difference for students and their families, and we are so grateful for them.
We are also grateful for you, because your generosity with your time and treasure allows us to step in when help is needed most. Because the need is often hidden where we are blessed to live, spreading the word about what we do is one of the most powerful ways you can help. If you or someone you know needs assistance, please let your school counselor or social worker know. We are here to help.
Looking ahead, we are gearing up for our next seasonal giving event. We are pleased to provide food and gift cards for families in need during Spring Break to help when students cannot count on breakfast and lunch at school. We are grateful to Brighthouse Financial for making this giving event happen, and we will share more details next month.
❤️ Thank you for being part of a community that leads with compassion and action.
