The annual production grew to a cast of 75 dancers, many of whom played multiple roles, so it was like there were 200 people in the show!
Besides classic ballet and my music, there were many other aesthetics in the production: costumes, lighting, gymnastics, hip hop, modern dance, aerials, sound, lighting, a narrator character, and much more.
Most of the shows were staged at Glendale Community College's Theatre of the Performing Arts, our December home for nearly 2 decades!
And so began a chapter of my life (and Cyndie's) that would span 20 years and 18 seasons of what became the new wintertime classic, The Snow Queen Ballet!
For maximum effect, listen to this music in sequence, with headphones or on a nice hi-fi stereo system, with access to the artwork above to follow the story.
And let me know about your Snow Queen experience...
