About the speaker:
Ashima Singh, Notary Public, Barrister & Solicitor Ashima Singh is a Co- founder, Partner at Legal Associates. She is the first INDIAN BORN NZ LAWYER to become Notary Public. She was admitted to Notaries Society of New Zealand in 2022. She has completed her Bachelor of Law from University of Auckland, New Zealand in 2011. She was admitted to High Court of New Zealand in August 2011.

Migrant Careers Support Trust, which has been active in the community for the past three years, had an end-of-year event on December 9. It comprised a panel discussion on ‘Careers in Governance’. The panellists included Raf Manji, Leader of the Opportunities Party; Mitali Purohit, Principal, Nuance Connected Capital; and Malcom Fraser, Program Director, The i4 Institute and a Governance New Zealand representative. The discussion was moderated by Garry Gupta, Chairperson of the Trust.

CAREERS IN GOVERNANCE WORKSHOP We held a year end celebration and event on 9 Dec 2022, to celebrate the success of our on=going Career Clinic programme, and got a really good response from our migrant community.
