Last Call for ACUMent Outstanding Faculty Mentor Nominations The Office of Faculty Affairs (OFA) is seeking nominations for awards in recognition of outstanding faculty mentoring by an individual faculty member. OFA seeks to recognize up to five mentors across campus, and those selected for recognition will each receive a $500 award to be applied to their professional development funds. Investing in Your Financial Future and Proactively Preparing for Retirement This workshop explores ways in which faculty can proactively plan for their retirement and establish a more secure and sustainable financial future. Our panelists will share their experiences in diversifying sources of income, making sound investments, and utilizing the financial planning support at CU. They will offer concrete (and memorable) suggestions for participants to implement in their own efforts to invest in their financial futures. Attendees are invited to join in on a 20-minute open discussion with the panelists following their remarks.

Navigating the Reappointment and Promotion Processes
This workshop focuses on the importance of being a vocal self-advocate when approaching the reappointment process. We explore how to create a cohesive reappointment file and successfully highlight your unique accomplishments that bring value to your department and our campus. Our panelists will briefly share their own approach to the reappointment applications, identifying challenges and opportunities that arise as faculty navigate their own reappointment processes. They will offer concrete (and memorable) suggestions to help participants get the most out of this important process and ensure their long-term success at CU.
