In the last few months, the whole team here at Matauri Bay Holiday Park have enjoyed working hard to provide our guests with the best summer experience.

Lily and Lavern are first cousins whose whakapapa back to Matauri Bay.

Lily stepped into the role as the Manager of Matauri Bay Holiday Park in April 2023, and Lavern has recently joined our team to ensure our guests are well taken care of.

Lily previously worked at Matauri Bay Holiday Park for her step dad, Brian Grimwood who ran the park for 21 years. She continued her employment with Great Value Accommodation and has blossomed as the manager of the holiday park.

Lavern previously managed food production lines for 12 years, and worked in research and development in new products for six years.

Lavern also brings his experience in plumbing, irrigation, and ground maintenance to the park.

Both Lily and Lavern are very passionate about Matauri Bay Holiday Park and giving our guests an unforgettable experience during their stay.

The General Store:

For all your grocery goods, all at your convenience.

We have bait stocked for keen eyed fishers.

We also have gas swap services available, so feel free to drop off your empty tanks.

Filleting Station Now Open:

Fish heads and frames can be placed in the stainless steel bin located at the filleting bench by the boat ramp.

Fish innards and skin make excellent burley. Innards and empty shells from shellfish and sea eggs should be dumped out at sea.

Fuel Up:

Conveniently located outside the Matauri Bay General Store, you can fuel up your vehicle when you stay with us.

Boat Launch

And Retrieve:

We provide boat launching and retrieval service.
