THANK YOU!!!! YOU have made a HUGE positive difference for 74 families in our Ballantyne community by giving them summer food support!

On Tuesday, May 30th, we delivered $32,320 worth of grocery gift cards to our amazing counselors/social worker at each of the 9 schools that feed into Ardrey Kell High School, which will be given to identified families. Each family will receive (see pictures above): 

· A decorated summer envelope with a Harris Teeter or Walmart grocery gift card
(based on family size) and a note from Ballantyne Families
· An encouraging handmade note from the community
· A 2-page community resource guide

The food pantry will have premade bags available for pickup on 6/15, 7/20, and
8/17. Families know to contact pantry@ballantynefamilies.org in advance!

We have had a HUGE influx in pantry requests. We have filled 16 requests this
week and have filled 137 since January!! As a result, we need more donations
to fill our pantry’s shelves!
