A quick update about our upcoming beginner classes, especially for those who were hoping to join the next course.
✨ Beginner Course Update
Our Free Beginners Taster last Thursday was great fun, and I was genuinely overwhelmed by the support from our community. Around 20 volunteers came along to help welcome newcomers, partner up, and create such a warm, friendly atmosphere. It was truly heart‑warming. Thank you so much to everyone who gave their time and energy.
Although the evening itself was fab, we didn’t have enough brand‑new beginners this time to launch the 4‑week Beginners Course on Thursday 5th March. Rather than run a course with small numbers, we’re going to pause the Thursday beginner course for now.
🟧 Beginner Drop‑In Session – Monday 9th March
Instead of setting a new course date straight away, we’re offering a special Beginner Drop‑In Session next week:

⏰ 7:00–8:00pm
📍 Wivelsfield Village Hall, RH17 7QH
💷 £9 per person
This session is ideal for:
Anyone who wanted to join the next beginner course
Anyone who tried the taster and wants to continue their dancing
Dancers who completed a previous Beginner course but didn’t continue to Beginner (2) and would like a gentle refresher
Anyone returning to salsa after a break and wanting to rebuild foundations and confidence

🟩 What Happens Next
We’ll look at setting a new beginner course date soon, once we have enough interest to make it fun and sociable for everyone. In the meantime, the Monday drop‑in on 9th March is a lovely way to stay connected, keep learning, and build confidence. If enough newcomers join us for the beginner session, we’ll run some more.
