Most Loved on Yelp (again!)

One never knows what magic will come in our mail slot at Random Acts of Breadness. Of course, we know what goes out: The Free Sniff Preview of freshly baked Breadness wafting from our majestic bread oven out the front door! But when we get a large envelope from yelp, that's an exciting moment...

For the third year in a row, yelp has bestowed their "People Love Us on yelp" declaration, complete with door sticker, suitable-for-framing certificate and a letter from the co-founder and CEO, Jeremy Stoppelman.

Yelp is the first place I turn to to find new restaurants in the area where I live, or if I'm on the road in unfamiliar territory. And the highest-rated places usually don't disappoint. Many reviewers take photos, too, so you can see what the dishes and the restaurants actually look like. What did we do before yelp? Word of mouth!

Big Rains Comin'... (Bread Bowl, Anyone?)

Nothing like Mother Nature bringing her much-needed water to wash down the city we call home. And the drop in temperature makes the thought of a hot soup or stew quite inviting.

It's what we call "Sourdough Weather." And we've made a few extra Sourdough Bread Bowls for you to cozy up to (by yourself or to share), filled with your choice of something warm and wonderful: Chowdah? Chili? Creole? Scampi?

Whatever you decide, it's gonna be comforting and memorable...

Holiday Meal Shopping List Suggestions:

Our XL Country Sourdough Batards, created for chefs and restaurants earlier this year, are now available for your table. Twice the size of our standard sourdough batard, this 14" loaf will satisfy all the bread lovers at Thanksgiving dinner, as well as all the sandwiches that will be made over the holiday weekend.

This is a made-to-order item so please place your order a week in advance so we can have these ready for you to pick up (or ship to your home). Let us know if you'd like your XL loaf sliced or not.

Our Sourdough Slider Buns/Rolls are another option for personalized plating. These micro-loaves are quite substantial. They come 4 to a bag.
