Issue #036: September 3, 2025
|
Hello, IA enthusiasts!
We hope this newsletter finds you well. It’s our 36th newsletter from your friends at WIAA. There’s a lot happening!
First, we’re excited to announce the theme for World IA Day 2026: Designing for Meaning. We’re already accepting locations for those who want to get actively involved. However you get involved, make sure March 7th is marked in your calendar. We’re also working on a much-needed update to our website and underlying systems. We’ve gathered feedback from some of you about the new website structure and are currently processing it. While still a work in progress, feel free to sneak around on the new website and tell us what you think. As usual in this newsletter, we’re sharing the upcoming Taxonomy Talk and World IA Cafe so you don’t miss out. We’ve also included some reading, listening, and watching tips for you.
We appreciate your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
Warm regards,
Grace Lau & Xander Roozen Co-President team, WIAA

Carin-Centered Design, designing for my mom

Join us on September 4 to hear David Taylor share his experiences with his mother's usability challenges and insights on how design can be more user-friendly and human-oriented.
