📢 Sponsorship Campaign: Transforming Lives One Child at a Time |
As you may know, our sponsorship campaign began in February to ensure that every child at KSV receives the support they need. 🌟
As we bring the campaign to a close, we are deeply grateful for the efforts of each one of you, whether you helped by spreading the word, connecting sponsors, or becoming a sponsor yourself. 💖
While our goal was to welcome 90 sponsors, we feel humbled and encouraged by the 75 kind-hearted individuals who joined us on this journey. These sponsorships will help ensure that our young students in need continue to receive the holistic education and nurturing environment they deserve to thrive. 🌱
Though the campaign is ending, our work continues. If you and your connection would like to sponsor in the near future, we warmly invite you to reach out. This is especially important as we will soon welcome our new 1st standard students with the start of the upcoming academic year. 🎉

🏆 KSV’s Triumph in SSLC Exams |
We are thrilled to celebrate the achievements of our 10th Standard students, who performed commendably in the recent SSLC exams! While three students will be appearing for the supplementary exams, we are confident in their success ahead. 💪
The overall results bring great pride, with this year’s batch achieving a 66% pass average. Among them, three students crossed the 80% threshold, demonstrating remarkable academic commitment. 🌟 A special congratulations to Bhishtavva Ratolli, who emerged as the top scorer with 94% 🎓, and she also achieved a perfect 100% in Social Studies! 🏆
These successes reflect not only the dedication of our students but also the unwavering guidance of our teachers and support staff. 🙌 As we honour their efforts, we remain committed to nurturing every child’s potential. 🌱

🌊 A Farewell to Remember at Mowgli Beach |
As a joyful send-off to their time at KSV, our 10th Standard students embarked on a memorable farewell trip to the serene Mowgli Beach 🏖️. We are deeply grateful to Satheesh for generously sponsoring this special outing, which gave our students the chance to unwind, strengthen friendships, and soak in the beauty of the coast. For many, it was their first time seeing the sea—making it a truly unforgettable experience. This excursion wasn’t just a holiday—it was a celebration of growth, friendship, and the journey ahead. The memories made will stay with them forever, marking a meaningful close to their KSV chapter 🎉. |
🌱 Small Adventures, Big Learnings |
As the academic and music exam season approached, Discovery and Development activities were scaled back. Yet, we ensured the children still had meaningful experiences—like a visit to a local farm where they engaged with nature and learned about rural livelihoods. After exams, a magical treat awaited them—a visit by a magician filled the campus with wonder and joy, giving them a well-deserved celebration. 🎊
These sessions help our students develop life skills, confidence, and critical thinking, equipping them to face the world beyond KSV. |
🎶 Young Artists Rise Through Exams |
As part of our core curriculum, KSV students sat for their annual internal music exams, covering both theory and practical components. These assessments celebrate their progress and help shape their artistic journeys, nurturing their identity as musicians through rigorous, rewarding evaluation. |
🎓 Strengthening the Path Beyond KSV |
We hosted one of our two annual gatherings for KSV’s 73 college students. With 46 students currently pursuing degrees, this February meeting became a dynamic platform for sharing updates, celebrating achievements, and discussing challenges and goals. These sessions foster a sense of community among our college students and provide them with ongoing guidance and encouragement. |
🎤 Music That Moves the Soul |
Our ongoing partnership with the EdelGive Foundation brought another memorable Morning of Music to KSV. This time, we had the honour of welcoming Pandit Venkatesh Kumar, who mesmerised us with soul-stirring renditions of Raag Miyan ki Todi and Raag Jaunpuri.
His performance ignited inspiration in our students and reaffirmed how deeply music can inspire and transform young lives. |
🧺 A New Spin on Daily Routines |
After years of hand-washing clothes—by staff for younger children and by the older students themselves—we’ve made a transformative upgrade. Our new laundry room, equipped with an industrial washing machine and dryer, is now ready for a trial run.
This shift will not only ease the workload but be especially useful during the monsoon, when drying clothes often took days. This simple change is already making daily life lighter and brighter. |
🏗️ Building Hope with CASIRA Hands |

Our heartfelt thanks go to the extraordinary volunteer teams from AMISTAD CASIRA, who joined us from Quebec, Canada. Their dedication and energy have resulted in the ongoing construction of much-needed infrastructure: a new office space and volunteers’ accommodation.
Their hands-on service—rooted in care and compassion—is building more than just walls; it’s building a stronger foundation for our future. These spaces will enhance the experience of our staff and allow us to welcome more support to campus, ultimately enriching the students’ learning environment. |
🕉️ Devotion and Discovery in Dharwad |
Every year, our students have the privilege of participating in the Maha Shivaratri Sangeetotsav at Dharwad Mudimaruti Devasthana, thanks to the generous coordination of Veeranna Pattar.
This year’s highlight was the presence of Pandit Venkatesh Kumar, a celebrated vocalist whose performance left a lasting impression on our students. For our young 🎵 musicians, this was a rare chance to witness 🎵 musical mastery up close—an experience that will inspire them in their own artistic paths. |
🌈 Colours of Togetherness and Laughter |
Once exams were complete, the campus erupted in joyful colour as students, alumni, staff, and volunteers came together to celebrate Holi. More than 200 students, staff, and alumni joined hands, turning the day into a festival of laughter, music, and connection.

🎉 Applause for a Year of Achievement |
As the academic year drew to a close, we welcomed families to campus for our Annual Day—a highlight of the school calendar. With vibrant performances, speeches, and awards, the day was a powerful celebration of student achievement and growth.
For our 10th-grade students, this event marked a milestone—the transition toward higher education. The sense of pride and promise in the air reminded us all of their potential—and the bright future ahead. |
