On social media through
Origami Whales Project and
Cetaceans.org we’ve been posting Tokitae’s monthly health reports. Her strength and grace continue to inspire. I am grateful to all involved in many ways working towards bringing Tokitae home. And this includes everyone over the decades, thousands of friends of Tokitae who wrote letters, participated in protests, put countless hours into whatever they could do to arrive to this time in her history.
I am optimistic that Tokitae will be released, and hopefully this year. In addition to the health updates and news, questions about Tokitae’s health and return home are answered on the June 25 TokiTV program in which special guest Charles Vinnick, Friends of Toki, and Director of Whale Sanctuary Project reported and engaged in
Q&A now available for viewing on YouTube.
Wonderful things have come together for Tokitae! We will always will be there for her as needed. If any actions regarding the permitting process or anything else require public comment, we will make a call for action.
