I hope you’re all well and enjoying this amazing Spring weather! It’s been ages since I sent a Club update, so here it is…finally!

Monday salsa will be returning from 28th April 2025

We know you’re keen to have some salsa again on Monday evenings and so we’ll be returning in just a few weeks to kick things off with a Free Taster session for absolute beginners. Please spread the word to your family and friends. We’d really love lots of support from our existing members, plus it’s a great opportunity to get together again at our much-loved Monday venue, the wonderful Wivelsfield Village Hall!

After the taster, from 8.30pm, we’ll be hosting a free salsa social until 10pm. Bring something to drink and some snacks to share. All welcome!

If you’ve never danced a step of salsa before and would like to come and give it a go with us, we will welcome you with open arms. It’s a great starting point, with absolutely no pressure to book a Beginner Course with us (although we’d love you to, of course). If you enjoy the session, and want to learn some more, then we can offer a special discounted price for the next 4-week beginner course. There’ll be further details at the taster evening.

The Future Plan for Monday evenings...

As we’ve been away from our Monday venue for 6 months (with all levels run by the extraordinary SalsaJulia Team at St. Wilfrid’s School, Haywards Heath on Thursday evenings) we will offer some short re-cap level Improver and Intermediate groups at Wivelsfield, with plenty of freestyle time afterwards, to get us all back into the swing of things. Further details will follow. Thursday lessons will continue, as usual.

See you this Thursday in ‘Havana Heath’ (St. Wilfrid’s School, Haywards Heath) for our Beginner, Improver and Intermediate levels. If you’re not already on one of our WhatsApp groups and would like our regular updates, please let me know. The classes are pay-as-you-go £8pp (cash or card). Class start times may vary each week, so please check for updates.

For this week (due to team holidays) the lessons will run at the following times;

7-8pm Beginner & Improver

8-9pm Intermediate

9pm Freestyle
