CD BOGO Ends Sat., New USBs Coming Tue., Clues

We received this health update via text from ApX alum drummer Bill “Moose” Rieger on Thursday afternoon:

MRI is super-positive: No growth. No movement. Nine days of antibiotics then bloodwork to confirm all is well. Two weeks to chemo.

Five days on the pill then 23 days off. Twelve cycles.

The main side effects are fatigue, nausea, constipation. Fifty percent of people don't finish more than 10 cycles, so it can be grueling.

Continue MRIs every 3 months. That is all.

As we’ve mentioned multiple times over the past several months, Bill is dealing with an inoperable brain tumor (glioma). In early May, he completed an intense six-week regimen of radiation therapy.

Here’s an excerpt from a post Bill made on Facebook Friday morning about his wife, Chris, who passed away unexpectedly on June 1:

I'm watching a legacy unfold before my very eyes …

She was the dot in the middle of a million threads, and now, without her, those threads that still need her are growing towards each other. Like a living thing, we are reaching out towards one another to fill the gap she left — the gap she knew we all needed.

And now, more than ever we need each other. Don't stop ...

Let's grow together and become the love she left us all without now that she's gone. What a beautiful way to leave us with the love of Christ — loving us exactly where we are. And who doesn't need more of that? I miss her even more now, which means I need you all even more.

Clues for 2025 Single #11

We hope to release our 11th single of 2025 by the end of this weekend, Lord willing.

Here are your clues. Want to really impress us? See if you can spot all of the references in both entries. We counted a total of 18.

SONG #1

Many Christians turn up the music and keep on rockin’ after they get saved. On the other hand, some cite rock’s bad reputation and see it as a reckless trip into the danger zone. If the message in the lyrics is godly, who has the right to judge someone else’s servant (Romans 14:4)? Both sides now should try to be a little bit more understanding .

SONG #2

Jesus said, "Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect” (Matthew 5:48). That’ll be the day. How many more years? We’ve got a long way to go, and it feels like a zig-zag walk or a very slow ride on this highway, but keep drivin’ on; “those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son" (Romans 8:29).

Once the new single is released, we'll announce it in our news bulletin, on our website, and on our Facebook page.

New USBs Expected This Coming Tuesday

We ran out of ApologetiX USB thumb drives last weekend, but we ordered a new batch on Monday and are now accepting advance orders for them from fans.

The manufacturer notified us on Friday that the USBs had already been shipped. Fed Ex says they’ll be here by this coming Tuesday afternoon. We plan to mail any orders we receive between now and then on Wednesday.

They will include our latest CD, Quite Ironic, and our latest single “Still Isn’t Right / Love Removed All My Shame.” Believe it or not, they’ll also include the single we’re planning to release at the end of this weekend.

In fact, they'll contain the digital versions of all of our CDs, plus any singles, EPs, or rarities that aren’t on CD yet.

Emblazoned with the band's logo, our USBs have a storage capacity of 16 GB, and they’re write-enabled, so you can add more music to them if and when you get future ApX downloads.
