HEY, Y'ALL! The weather is cooling down, but our cleanup program is warming up. It is also our last month with our current Outreach Coordinator, Katie Fagan! But no worries, because our new Outreach Coordinator, Katie Holmes, is already hard at work. You can reach her at kholmes@blackwarriorriver.org. So come to at least one of our October events to say goodbye to Katie, and hello to the new Katie! Be sure to spread the word and bring a friend along!

Black Warrior Riverkeeper & GASP, represented by the Southern Environmental Law Center, filed a lawsuit against Bluestone Coke for violating the Federal Clean Water Act. The plant continues to pollute Five Mile Creek, violating the Clean Water Act.
