Hello Neighbors,
March marks the six-year anniversary of Ballantyne Families Helping Neighbors in Need. What began as a simple idea rooted in community compassion has grown into a powerful network of neighbors helping neighbors. Since our founding, we have supported more than 19,000 people in our community and distributed over $750,000 in food and grocery gift cards to families who attend or work in the 11 Ballantyne-area public schools.
At its heart, our organization exists to bring people together — to inspire generosity, build lasting connections, and empower our community to care for one another with dignity, compassion, and love. Every donor, volunteer, school counselor/social worker, and supporter plays a role in making that vision a reality.
This anniversary month is marked by the recent Gold Seal of Transparency designation from Candid, which recognizes our commitment to financial accountability and leadership transparency. This distinction ensures our supporters can clearly see the impact their generosity makes in the community.
