Save the Date: Scholarship Applications Open November 15

The NATA Foundation is proud to support the next generation of athletic trainers through its annual Scholarship Program. Since its launch, the Foundation has awarded $4.35+ million to more than 2,100 students nationwide. Applications will be accepted Nov. 15, 2025 – Jan. 15, 2026 for pre-athletic training, professional, and post-professional students. LEARN MORE

Call for Free Communications Abstracts: September 15 - November 3

Abstract submissions for the NATA Foundation Free Communications Program are open September 15 through November 3. Accepted abstracts will be published in the Journal of Athletic Training supplement and presented at the 2026 NATA Clinical Symposia & AT Expo via oral or poster presentations. Open Call for Writing Group Members

The NATA Foundation Pronouncements Committee is seeking writing group members to help update upcoming Position Statements on Exertional Heat Stroke (EHS) and Exertional Heat Illnesses (excluding EHS). These high-priority manuscripts will play a key role in shaping best practices for the athletic training profession. Researchers and clinicians are encouraged to apply, and applicants may also express interest in serving as lead author. The deadline to apply is November 7, 2025. LEARN MORE

Open Call for Committee Positions

Applications are being accepted for the Access and Collective Engagement Committee and Ambassador Program and will be reviewed on a rolling basis at the end of each month until the positions are filled. LEARN MORE
