A Newsletter from the School District of South Milwaukee
Any job you have in your career, whether it's hands-on like construction or in an office setting or anywhere in between, employees who are most successful can manage their stress productively and in a healthy way, respond appropriately to setbacks, and manage conflict with coworkers.
Having a grasp of these skills may well determine if you keep a job if you get promoted, and how easy it is to find another job if you need to. In our personal lives, these abilities help us make and keep friends and cope with what life throws at you.
Our guest is the teacher who developed the Foundations for Success class, she teaches students various ways to manage these feelings and situations so students don't have to learn them the hard way.
